Mama's Apple Cider Sangria

Updated: Jan 14, 2020

It must be fall to partake in this recipe!

Windows open, oven on, sweaters out, bonfire ready and pumpkin everything. I'll put pumpkin in just about anything. My gooey butter cake (shhhhhh....recipe to come), my protein shakes, and oh my, the Trader Joes Oatmeal??? Why don't they sell that year-round? But seriously, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, pumpkin pie, I could go on and on. Before y'all turn into a pumpkin I'll get to the point. To be 100% honest, summer IS my favorite season, but fall is for sure a close second because of all the "things". So while I bake my fall away, I will be making time for winery trips (its all about the wine, the leaves changing and oh, the wine), pumpkin patches, Boo at the Zoo nights, Grants farm Halloween nights, decorating, pumpkin carving, costume planning, buying boots, hats and all things warm, all while finding the best deals of course. So cheers to fall, to all things fall and to this sangria recipe!

1 Bottle of White Wine, like Chardonnay

(I like things a bit dryer and the apples add enough sugar for my taste)

6 Cups Apple Cider

(Aldi has a great one)

1 Cup of Vodka

(I used vanilla, but Carmel would be good if you are going for that apple Carmel taste)

2 Apples

(Any flavors, sliced or chopped)

Mix in a pitcher and all you're neighbors will be by to partake!

Cheers!
